The blurb is impressive:

JOURNEY INTO JOY  Reading this book is a journey into joy. It’s a joy to accompany these two so very different Irish Legionaries on their adventure around the world into the heart of the Regnum Christi charism. It’s a joy to accompany Regnum Christi members around the world, as they refine the expression of the charism we all share and live. It’s a joy to watch the inner core of the Regnum Christi charism gradually crystallize into a thing of wonder, a beautiful harmony. It’s a joy to grasp the inner working of the Regnum Christi charism — its core. It’s a joy, once you’ve read this book, to feel the competence and confidence as you yourself explain to the next generation of Regnum Christi members the amazing beauty and humble power of a charism you live in communion with other Regnum Christi members –Legionary priests and religious, diocesan priest members, consecrated men and women, and lay members in Regnum Christi sections around the world. Enjoy the joy!

  1. Good on them, if they are able to find so much joy in a fake “charism”. It takes a great deal of mental gymnastics to conjure up such a wonderful and joyful “charism”. I suppose it is about “legionary charity”. God between us and “legionary charity”. One of the ways they practiced on me was to shaft me out of it after 28 years of membership, arbitrarly, of course, and with no legal basis. Another example of legionary charity, the “charism” was the fact that they didn’t fulfill the law and pay into Social Security for us, so that we could eventaully get a pension, and in the process saves stacks of $s. I guess that was dependence on Divine Providence. How wonderful of Owen K and Patrick Langan to remind us about this wonderful “charism”, which also made us sick.

  2. Dear former member blessed by Legion Charity;
    you are forgetting that Fr. Maciel discovered the Charism of Charity toward the end of his career after he discovered love with Hilda, the mother of his daughter. Keep in mind that this was the most chaste of loves in which Fr. Maciel privileged Hilda with his priestly administrations
